MARINA NIKOLOVSKA

SECOND OBOE

Marina was born in 1984 in Kavadarci, where she completed her primary education in the flute class of Prof. Silvana Chuleva - Atanasova. She completed her secondary education at the SMBC Ilija Nikolovski Luj in Skopje in the oboe class of Prof. Gordana Josifova – Nedelkovska. In 2007 she graduated from the Faculty of Music in Skopje in the class of Prof. Gordana Josifova – Nedelkovska with highest honours. She later completed her Master’s studies in the same class in 2011.

She is a member of the Macedonian Philharmonic since 2005, performing numerous concerts with renowned artists. Marina is also a member of No Borders Orchestra, an orchestra composed of eminent artists from Ex-Yugoslavia. She has also performed with the Balkan Chamber Orchestra and actively performs as a soloist and a member of many chamber ensembles. Since 2013, she is a member of the Balkan sextet ProArte, composed of musicians from Macedonia, Albania and Kosovo, and has performed with the ensemble in Macedonia and abroad.

Marina has participated in many competitions and has been awarded numerous prizes. She has performed as a soloist with the Macedonian Philharmonic in 2002,2005,2006,2007 and 2010. In 2011, Marina performed as a soloist with the orchestra of the Faculty of Music.

During her free time, she likes to read books, watch series and socialise with her friends.
