MARIJANA NIKOLOVSKA

KEYBOARD INSTRUMENTS

Marijana was born in 1976. She completed her education at the SMBC Ilija Nikolovski Luj and the Faculty of Music in Skopje, in the classes of Prof. Rita Trpcheva – Popovikj and Prof. Jasminka Chakar. During her education, Marijana participated in numerous competitions, as well as seminars with eminent professors, such as Kemal Gekic, Arbo Valdma, Rita Kinka…

In 2007, she completed her Master’s studies in piano accompaniment and chamber music at the Faculty of Music in Skopje.

She has performed solo recitals and as a piano accompanist at the Skopje Summer Festival, Days of Macedonian Music, Interfest, as well as in Serbia, Bulgaria, Romania, the Czech Republic, Italy, USA, Belgium, France, Croatia…

Since 2000 she worked as a professor of piano and piano accompaniment at the SCMB Ilija Nikolovski Luj in Skopje. In 2003 she was accepted as a part-time accompanist at the Faculty of Music in Skopje, collaborating with the following departments: percussion, trombone and tuba, French horn, trumpet, singing and orchestral conducting. She has performed numerous graduation exams with Bachelor’s and Master’s students, as well as numerous assessments, competitions and recitals.

She has extensively performed abroad, more importantly as a part of the Orchestra L’amoreaux, Orchestra regional de Cannes (France) and the Flemish Symphony Orchestra (Belgium).

Marijana became a part-time collaborator of the Macedonian Philharmonic in 2011 and a permanent member of the orchestra in 2020 as a specialist for keyboard instruments (piano / celesta).
