CELLO

Elizabeta completed her secondary and higher education in Skopje at the SCMB Ilija Nikolovski Luj and the Faculty of Music. She participated in two federal chamber music competitions in Ex-Yugoslavia, winning the 1st prize in both competitions. She was the leader of the cello section of the Orchestra of the Faculty of Music and the Chamber Orchestra of the Ohrid Summer Festival.

She continued her education at the Alto Perfezionamente Musicale di Saluzzo (CN) in Italy, studying cello and chamber music with Prof. Mihai Dancila and contemporary music with Elizabeth Wilson. Her trio, which included a flutist and an oboist, was selected as one of the five finalists from 360 ensembles, at an international competition in Italy. As part of the prize, the trio performed at the Philharmonic Hall in Torino. From 1996 until 2000 she studied at the Arts Academy in Rome, in the class of Prof. Andrea Noferini, as a student of the department for virtuoso cello. Elizabeta also studied with Prof. Franco Maggio Ormezowsky.

While she was living in Rome, she performed with the Orchestra Regionale di Roma e del Lazio and collaborated with all of the permanent orchestra as a part-time member. She also performed in numerous chamber ensembles, quintets, quartets, trios. She specialises in classical, baroque and church music. She also often performs operatic repertoire. Elizabeta has performed with Mstislav Rostropovich, Misha Maisky, Yo Yo Ma and others. In 2009 she was accepted as a part-time member of the Macedonian Philharmonic and was accepted as a permanent one in 2011.
