Betty Jardin is a French singer living in Normandy for 7 years. She has been trained in jazz music (part of the Big band JAM (Jazz à Montpellier) in the south of france in 1999. Moreover, she has studied jazz theory in the conservatory jazz department in Caen, Normandy for 6 years. She’s studied Carnatic music and Bharatanatyam (South Indian classical form) for more than 6 years. She has been studying this art directly in Kerala and Tamil Nadu (South India) where she settled for 12 years. The interaction between Jazz and Indian music has given Betty a vocal style of her own. She writes her own songs in French and English as well as being part of different music projects in Caen (jazz, pop, fusion).
