Tenor Kastriot Tusha has come to the Albanian stage with a new, crystal-clear physiognomy and sound

He was born in Elbasan in 1963 and received his initial vocal lessons at the "Onufri" High School of Music in Elbasan. Afterwards, he continued his vocal lessons at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gaqo Çako's class.

After completing his studies in 2002, he became active with the soloists of the Opera and Ballet Theater, as well as a singer and soloist with the Ensemble of Folk Songs and Dances.

At the Opera and Ballet Theater, Tusha carries out an intense concert activity with wide participation in numerous roles in Albanian and foreign operas, with concerts of various kinds, with a rich repertoire, both in the fields of light and folk music, both inside and outside the country, as well as in Germany. Italy, USA, Switzerland, Turkey, England, Denmark, Kosovo, Macedonia, Canada, Norway, Sweden, Ireland, and others. He has performed on numerous opera stages, with roles such as Alfredo in "La Traviata," roles in "Rigoletto," "Trovatore," and others.

In all these debuts, he has established himself as a suggestive and captivating lyrical singer.

Since 1992, Kastriot Tusha has been a freelance singer, not involved in any opera troupe. This brought him closer to that genre of concerts with urban songs created, which he beautifully matched with the sound of the lyrical tenor.

Tusha became very attractive to listeners, opening up an excellent career for himself in this genre of song.

He has often sung with light music singers such as Deda, Makashi Gjoka, as well as with Vikena Kamenica and Manjola Nallbani.

Tusha is an ambitious tenor who, with his recital concerts, advances further towards different styles of singing, Latin American rhythms, accompanied by the New Philharmonic Orchestra, symphony-type orchestras, and others.

It aims to enter the market with musical sidi and to appear on stage with melodic types, with diverse emotions, matching the characters of the songs and respective trends.

He also holds his concerts by inviting local and foreign artists, to enrich, from this perspective, the renewing images of his own concerts. The choice he has made is certain.

He is inclined not only to operatic music but also to urban aria-style music, and he has not hesitated to sing selected folk songs as well.
