SASHKO TEMELKOVSKI

BASS CLARINET

Sashko was born in Skopje. He completed his secondary music education at the SMBC Ilija Nikolovski Luj in Skopje, in the class of Prof. Stojan Dimov and Prof. Petar Kolevski. He graduated from the Faculty of Music in Skopje in the class of Prof. Ivan Kocharov and completed his Master’s studies in 2010, in the class of Prof. Stojan Dimov.

Sashko has attended clarinet and chamber music seminars led by Petko Radev (Bulgaria), Justin O’Dell (USA), Opera – Berlin Chamber Soloists (Germany), and has also participated in the Youth Chamber Orchestra DE JUNES (France). He has also performed for numerous theatre plays: The Last Odyssey, Macedonian National Theatre – Skopje, Helena Modzheyevskaya – Legnica, Poland and Migrant Workers – Trajko Prokopiev Theatre, Kumanovo. He is an active member of the F.A.M.E.’S.project – Orchestral music Recording. He is also a member of the chamber ensemble Consonans, with which he has recorded one compact disk. As a soloist and chamber musician he has performed with symphonic orchestras at important festivals in Macedonia and abroad (Skopje Summer Festival, Days of Macedonian Music, Autumnal Musical Festivities, Interfest – Bitola, Ohrid Summer Festival, Youth Podium, Nomus, Bemus, performances in Poland, New York – USA, Dubai, France, Italy, Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Bulgaria. He is a permanent member of the Macedonian Philharmonic as a bass clarinettist – third clarinettist, since 2006.

Sashko likes to spend his free time with his family and friends, with a good film, likes to take walks in nature and fishing. =
