LJUBICA DELEVA

VIOLIN

Ljubica graduated from the Faculty of Music in Skopje, in the class of Prof. Oleg Kondratenko. In 2018 she successfully performed the second part of her graduation exam, receiving the highest marks. In 2017, she successfully auditioned for the position of part-time member of the Macedonian Philharmonic and began to participate in concerts with world renowned soloists and conductors. In 2016 she became a regular member of the film music orchestra F.A.M.E.’s, participating in numerous projects. During 2016 she also became a part-time member of the Orchestra of the Macedonian Opera and Ballet. As a soloist and concertmaster, she has performed with the Symphony Orchestra of the Faculty of Music in Skopje, the chamber orchestra Soloists of FMU, Chamber Orchestra of Jeunesses Musicales Macedonia, the symphonic and chamber orchestras of the SCMB Ilija Nikolovski Luj. In 2012 and 2014 Lubica performed as a soloist with the Macedonian Philharmonic. She has also performed at Violinfest, Skopje Summer Festival, Ohrid Summer Festival, Cultural Summer in Shtip, as well as the international classical music festival Interfest – Bitola. She is the recipient of many national and international awards.

“Being a part of the Macedonian Philharmonic and performing with eminent musicians, such as Vadim Repin, Antoni Wit, Conrad van Alphen, David Fray, Vadim Gluzman, Nicolas Altstaedt, and others, is a great honour and pleasure for me. In my free time I enjoy a good film or a book, cycling, cooking and exploring new cultures through travel.”
