LIDIJA DOBREVSKA

LEADER OF SECOND VIOLINS

Lidija is a part of the Macedonian Philharmonic since 1999. She graduated from the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow, in the class of Prof. Marine Yashvili. Her work as an orchestral musician is a long-lasting and very important part of her career as a violinist.

As a soloist and a member of different chamber ensembles, she has participated in many festivals: Skopje Summer Festival, Days of Macedonian Music, Interfest – Bitola, Bemus in Belgrade, Nimus in Nish, Ohrid Summer Festival, performance at Kamerfest in Pristina as a part of the Musica Balkanika ensemble, performances at Balkan Forum in Thessaloniki as part of the Balkan Chamber Orchestra and the Balkan Symphony Orchestra, performance in Hanoi, Vietnam with the Vietnamese National Philharmonic at the humanitarian concert Light Your Hope, performances in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam at the Autumn’s Melodies festival.

Her work as a pedagogue is also an important part of her professional activities.

In 2013, Lidija was invited to teach violin and chamber music at the Beyond the Music festival in Benasque, Spain.
