JANA SHUPLEVSKA-MALEVSKA

CELLO

Jana was born in 1973 in Skopje, where she completed her primary, secondary and higher education. She graduated from the Faculty of Music in Skopje in 1995, in the class of Prof. Dushka Tasevska.

She is a permanent member of the Macedonian Philharmonic since 1996 and has performed in more than 700 concerts with the orchestra. With the Macedonian Philharmonic she has performed in Spain, Bulgaria, Israel, Oman, Serbia, Croatia and other countries. In 1998, Jana founded the women’s chamber quartet Kale, with which she has performed tens of events. She has also been a member of international orchestras: Atheneum in Greece, the Balkan Symphony Orchestra in Greece, Germany and others.
