Goran completed his primary and secondary music education at the SMBC Ilija Nikolovski Luj in the class of Prof. Ile Temkov. He graduated from the Faculty of Music in Skopje under the tutelage of Prof. Oleg Kondratenko. As a scholarship holder from the Deutsche Akademische Austauschdienst DAAD he had the opportunity to study in Germany at the Hochschule fur Musik, Detmold, where he graduated in the class of Prof. Thomas Christian. He also received his Master’s degree in chamber music at the same university in the classes of Matthias Lingenfelder, Jens Opperman, Stewart Eaton and Andreas Arndt.
During his stay in Germany, Muratovski was a member of renowned orchestras: Klassische Philharmonie Bonn, Neues Reinschess Kammerorchestra and Detmoler Tibor Varga Kammerorchester.
Muratovski is a member of the String Quartet Zografski and an honorary member of the Foundation Tomislav Zografski. He also taught violin at the SMBC Ilija Nikolovski Luj. At the moment he is working on his Master’s thesis in violin pedagogy under the mentorship of Prof. Kolarovska. Goran Muratovski is the founder and owner of the private music school Crescendo.
