GOCE UZUNSKI

TIMPANI

Goce was born in 1974 in Delchevo. He completed his primary education in the village of Trabotivishte and continued his secondary education at the SMBC Ilija Nikolovksi Luj in Skopje, in the percussion class of Prof. Emil Klan. In 1992, he was admitted at the Faculty of Music in Skopje and graduated in 1996 in the class of Prof. Zoran Spasovski, with the highest mark, 10, and highest honours, cum laude.

From 1990 – 1999 he was a part-time collaborator of the Macedonian Philharmonic and became a permanent percussion member in 1999.

He is a member of multiple chamber ensembles, the youth orchestra of Jeunesses Musicales Macedonia and different ensembles performing at Days of Macedonian Music. In 1997, he participated in seminars in Altenburg, Germany, with Prof. David Punto, first timpanist of the Berlin Philharmonic.

Since 1995, Goce is a member of the ethno-ensemble Sintezis, realising more than 500 concerts presenting Macedonian music throughout the world – USA, Australia, Europe, Russia, Japan, Israle, China, Vietnam… He is a timpanist with the Macedonian Philharmonic since 2020.
