Viktor Rafajlovski

Viktor Rafajlovski was born in 2003 in Skopje, Republic of North Macedonia. He started playing the piano at the age of six in the Primary Music School DMBUC “Ilija Nikolovski-Luj” in Skopje with his mentor Prof. Katerina Kjetkovikj-Fidanovska. From 2018 he is a high school student in the same school with the same professor. Viktor Rafajlovski has won first prizes on several State Competitions of North Macedonia, in 2010, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2017 and Special Prize in 2019 and 2021. He also won first prizes on many international piano competitions in Republic of Serbia – Arangelovac (2011), Vranje (2011), Sabac (2016), “Davorin Jenko” – Belgrade (first prize in 2014, and second prize in 2020). In Italy, he participated on the international piano competition “Citta di San Dona Di Piave” where he won first prize in 2015, and first absolute prize in 2021. On the International Competition for Young Musicians “Ohrid Pearls” in 2012 he won first special prize, while in 2018 second prize. In 2020 he won first special prize in his category, as well as the third prize – bronze medal and EMCY Prize on the final concert. In the period 2018/19 he had opportunity to work periodically with prof. Todor Svetiev. During his musical education, Viktor Rafajlovski participated on seminars and masterclasses with many eminent professors and pianists, such as: Natalija Tomikj (Serbia), Elena Dikova (Bulgaria), Maja Djogo (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Heidi Elsässer (Germany), Denis Zardi (Italy), Kalina Mrmevska (Macedonia/USA), Antonio Di Cristofano (Italy), Katarina Krpan (Croatia) and Simon Trpceski (Macedonia). Viktor Rafajlovski recently preformed on the renewed ,,Ohrid Summer Festival''. In 2021, he made his debut with the Macedonian Philharmonic.
