Leo Rondón

Leo Rondón (*Venezuela) is a cuatrista, arranger and producer of the Ávila Quartet, a Venezuelan music quartet, as well as cuatrista with Ensemble L’Arpeggiata, in addition to his solo project Leo Rondón Project. He won third place in the Siembra del Cuatro 2007, second place in 2012 at the national level, as well as second place in 2011 as a quartet player in the festivals of El Silbón (Venezuela) and San Martín (Colombia). He has performed in different and important concert halls and festivals in Venezuela, Colombia, Portugal, Spain, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Sweden, United Kingdom, Belgium, Holland, Kazakhstan and Morocco, with different groups and artists. As a soloist he has appeared with Alexis Cárdenas and Recoveco in the show El Fuego Latino organized by the Orchestre National d’Île-de-France, presenting seven concerts in the Paris region, including the Philharmonie de Paris.
