Gonca Bogoromova Krapovski

Gonca Bogoromova Krapovski is an artist who successfully affirms her achievements on the domestic and international concert scene as one of the most outstanding vocal artists from the younger generation of soloists in R. Macedonia. She have an active and versatile career as a soloist, teacher and chamber musician. As a performer, she possess a wide range of repertoire in her solo, chamber recital and concert programs, and is regarded as a soprano with sophisticated artistic expression and exceptional vocal technique. She performs with the Macedonian Philharmonic, the Munich Chamber Orchestra, the Orchestra of the State Opera from Plovdiv and the Orchestra of the Macedonian Opera and Ballet and collaborate with exceptional pianists such as Milica Škarić, Marija, Vrškova, Elena Atanasovska, Milen Stanev, Vyara Shuperlieva, Dimitri Vasilakis ... Devoted to the concert activity, she performs at all renowned festivals in R. Macedonia: "Skopje Summer", "Autumn Musical Festivities", "Golden Lyre", "Days of Macedonian Music". At the 61st edition of the Macedonia’s most prestigious festival "Ohrid Summer" she has had her concert debut where, together with the "Altus" ensemble, the world premiere of works from the composer's opus of Pande Shahov was performed. With the performances at the 62nd and 64th editions of the Ohrid Summer Festival, Bogoromova confirms herself as an artist with great affinity for contemporary music from Macedonian composers. The year 2021 will also be noted for the release of her first audio recording entitled "Dodola" together with the pianist Marija Vrškova, from a concert dedicated to the works of the Macedonian woman composers. As an established vocal artist, the last few years include concerts and artistic collaboration with maestro Simon Trpceski. Devoted to her artistry, she has performed on concert stages in Slovenia, Bulgaria, Italy, Austria. At the festival "Les Musicales de Quiberon" in Quiberon, France, in 2022 and 2024 she gave exceptional solo recitals together with the pianist Dimitri Vasilakis that were highly appreciated by the critics and the audience. On the domestic opera stage, she had her debut in the role of Zerlina in Mozart's "Don Giovanni", and on the international opera stage she debuted with the role of Magda in Puccini’s "La Rondine" with the State Opera of Stara Zagora. Her international concert debut was with the orchestra of the Wien Klang Sinfonietta from Vienna on their concert tour in China. Bogoromova collaborates with renowned conductors Tomislav Shopov, Borjan Canev, Sasha Nikolovski-Gjumar, Ivan Eminović, Luciano Di Martino. In collaboration with Duo SoliPs, Trio Parnassus and Altus Ensemble, Bogoromova premiered a notable number of compositions by international and domestic composers, some of them dedicated to her: Pande Shahov’s song cycles "Songs for Love and Death" and "Dreams", Damjan Temkov’s song cycle "Hope" for soprano and violoncello, Bojana Petrović Aleksova’s "Death is a blue window open to the day", Gerhard Deiss’s “She Walks in Beauty”. Bogoromova graduated in the class of prof. B. J. Jakimovska and in 2020 she earned her Master's degree in the class of assoc. prof. Anna Durlovski at the Faculty of Music Art in Skopje. She continues to refine her artistry with the exceptional singers and pedagogues Darina Takova, Krasimira Stojanova, Carlo Colombara, Luciana D'intino and Alexandrina Pendachanska. Bogoromova is greatly dedicated to her students at the State School for Music and Ballet “Ilija Nikolovski -Luj” in Skopje where she teaches opera singing and chamber music. The music critics will say: "As many times before, we are convinced of her impeccability on the stage, especially the chamber concerts, but also on her recitals that constantly fascinate the audience with its crystal clear and impeccably articulated vocals" - A.
