NATASHA VASILEVSKA

VIOLIN

Natasha was born in 1970 in Zagreb into a family of musicians. She is a member of the orchestra of the Macedonian Philharmonic since 1993. She graduated in 1992 from the Faculty of Music in Skopje in the class of Prof. Zoran Dimitrovski. During her studies she was a member of the Chamber Orchestra of Radio Television Skopje, with which she has realised many audio and video recordings, mainly of works of Macedonian composers. She was also a member of the Youth Chamber Orchestra. One of her more important appearances is as a soloist in Vivaldi’s Concerto for four violins.

As a member of the Macedonian Philharmonic, Natasha has performed in Italy, France, Spain, Romania, Croatia, Serbia, Oman, China, etc. She had the opportunity to work with eminent conductors and soloists, amongst whom are: Boris Berezovsky, Alexander Kaganovsky, Ilya Grubert, Ivo Pogorelich and others.

“I spend my free time always with my family and dear friends. I like to spend time in nature and my hobby is mountain hiking.”
