As part of the prize, Dimitar performed three recitals in Macedonia and as a soloist with the Macedonian Philharmonic. Two months later, he was also selected as the first laureate in all categories and age groups of the international competitions Ars Kosova in Prishtina.

Dimitar has performed at many music festivals in Macedonia: Bitfest, Skopje Summer Festival, Ohrid Summer Festival, Days of Macedonian Music, Violinfest… He has also toured abroad with many orchestras: CEI Youth Orchestra under the baton of Igor Koretivo in Italy and Jeunesses Moving Orchestra in Romania, where he performed as soloist. In 2020, after a successful performance as concertmaster of the popular Douglass at the Ohrid Summer Festival, he participated in the Yehudi Menuhin Academy and later performed with the eminent violinist Maxim Vengerov at the same festival.

“I am exceptionally proud to be a member of the orchestra of the Macedonian Philharmonic. This was my dream job from a very early age. I have enjoyed every performance where I had the chance to collaborate with different soloists and conductors from around the world. I am a hedonist and love food. I enjoy good food and a drink after a concert. I love children, they are honest, just like music.”
