MARINA TRAJKOVSKA
VIOLIN
Marina started playing the violin when she was eight, completing her primary and secondary education in Bitola in the class of Vancho Stoilkov. She graduated from the Faculty of Music in Skopje in the class of Oleg Kondratenko, where she also completed her Master’s studies. She began her concert activity during primary school. During her education, she was awarded numerous prizes at national competitions, amongst which are one 1st prize, one 2nd prize and two 3rd prizes. She also participated in a competition in Bucharest, Romania.
Marina has attended violin seminars led by: C. Bronzetti, L. Prunaru, B. Dimchevski, etc. She performed as a soloist with the Macedonian Philharmonic in 2003, being one of the university students selected to perform in the series of student concerts.
Since 2004, Marina Trajkovska is a part of the first violins of the Macedonian Philharmonic, initially as part-time collaborator and since 2007 as a permanent member.
As a chamber musician she is a part of Jeunesses Musicales Macedonia, the Chamber Orchestra of Bitola, Skopje Soloists, the Chamber Orchestra of the Macedonian Philharmonic, the chamber orchestra Profundis and is a permanent member of the film music orchestra F.A.M.E.’s since its formation until today. A chamber trio was formed in 2019, of which she is a member and has realised concerts in Skopje and Istanbul. The trio is planning new activities in 2021. With the above-mentioned ensembles Marina has performed in Slovenia, Portugal, Sweden, Poland, the Czech Republic, Italy, France, Spain, Bulgaria, Serbia, Bosnia, Albania, etc.
