EVA BOGOEVSKA
VIOLIN
Eva was born in 1999 in Skopje. She started playing the violin when she was 7 in the class of Prof. Anna Kondratenko. In the very beginning of her education, she won the international competition for classical music Ohrid Pearls and was immediately invited to perform two concerts in Bratislava, Slovakia.
At age 16, she entered the class of Prof. Oleg Kondratenko at the Faculty of Music in Skopje as the youngest student in the country and graduated in 2020 with highest honours. She is the recipient of many national and international awards, amongst which are: 1st prize at the San Remo Junior competition in Italy in 2012, 1st prize at the renowned international competition for classical music in Saint Petersburg, Grand Prix at the international festival for classical music and culture in Jerusalem, 1st prize at the international competition for classical music in New York, where as part of her prize she received the opportunity to perform at Carnegie Hall.
Eva has performed multiple times as a soloist with the Macedonian Philharmonic, as well as with the National Orchestra of the Opera and Ballet of Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam. She has also performed in Slovakia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Italy, Russia, Austria, the Czech Republic, Hungary, USA, Israel, France, Portugal…
In 2019 she participated with her work in the first conference for new manners of interpretation of classical works, organised by Jeunesses Musicales International in Berlin, Germany. She is an active participant in renowned national festivals: Skopje Summer Festival, Ohrid Summer Festival, Days of Macedonian Music, Zlatna Lira, and others. Since 2017 she is a member of the film music orchestra F.A.M.E.’s, where she records film music. In 2020 she became a member of the group of first violins of the Macedonian Philharmonic.
