Vesna Angelova Hristov
She has finished the primary and secondary music education in Skopje in the class of prof. Pavlina Srebrova. At the age of 17 she was admitted to FMU where she graduated piano with the highest grade in the class of Prof. Boris Romanov. She has been teaching a piano interpretation of the FMU under the mentorship of the renowned pianist and pedagogue Rita Kinka (Academy of Arts Novi Sad, Republic of Serbia). During her education, she has won many national and international awards and rewards(Special award International Competition N. Sad, Republic of Serbia, Diploma from International Competition in Eutlingen, Germany, a special prize and several first prizes at state competitions in piano and chamber music.) eurovision contest for classical music helps her to realize the TV Portrait of the Macedonian Television.She has got a scholarship for cultural action and cultural stay in Paris 2008 at the International City of Arts (Cites des Arts Paris). She is also a participant in international master classes in eminent pedagogues - B.Romanov, Rita Kink, Anton Dikov, J.Mihailovic, Jaromir Klepach (French-Czech Summer Academy).She won a MMM scholarship for participation in the international master class in Wakersheim, Germany where she works with famous pedagogues from this field. She performs herself as a soloist and chamber musician in concert halls in Macedonia, Kosovo, Republic of Serbia, Bulgaria, Croatia, France (Paris), Germany, Turkey, Czech Republic, USA (New York). She participated in various festivals in The Republic of Macedonia- Ohrid Summer Festival, Skopje Summer Festival,as well as in an international stage-DAM Festival, Chopin Fest (Pristina), Saloil Francophonie, Sozopol (R.Bulgaria), Fete de la musique Paris and others. She also performs as a soloist with the Macedonian Philharmonic. Her affinity for chamber music leads to the formation of a piano trio and piano duo.As a pianist often performs with violinists, supporting young musicians in competitions, seminars and concert podiums. She is also a member of the state commission for competitions in piano and chamber music. She currently works as a professor of piano and chamber music at DMBUC "Ilija Nikolovski-Luj" Skopje and is an external collaborator of the Orchestra of the Macedonian Philharmonic Orchestra and the Faculty of Music Arts Skopje.
