Ivan Eminovikj
Born in Skopje, Ivan begins to study music at the age of 6, studying piano at DMBUC “Ilija Nikolovski – Luj” in Skopje, where he completes the primary and high school music education. At the Faculty of Music in Skopje, Eminovikj studies orchestral conducting with Sasha Nikolovski – Gjumar and graduates in 2010 with a concert dedicated to prof. Kosta Trpkov. The same year he is awarded “Tomislav Zografski” Award by “Tomislav Zografski Foundation” for the most accomplished students from the departments of conducting, composition, musicology and music theory and pedagody). In 2012 Eminovikj obtained his Masters degree with honours in orchestral conducting with the opera “Rita” by Gaetano Donizetti. As a pianist, Ivan has performed many concerts in Macedonia and abroad and has received numerous prizes and awards at state and international competitions (State Music Competition in Skopje, International Music Competition “Interfest” in Bitola, festival “ERTA” in Osijek, Croatia and others). In July 2018 he conduct with Sarajevo philharmonic orchestra on the opening of the festival “Bashcharshiski nokji” in Sarajevo. His artistic portfolio includes many productions of the Macedonian Opera and Ballet, among them La Traviata, Nabucco, Carmina Burana, Giselle, Rigoletto, Cavalleria Rusticana, Lady with the camelias, Il Barbiere di Seviglia, Eugeni Onegin, Adriana Lecuvrer, Don Giovanni, Turandot, Requiem - Mozart and also numerous concerts.
