Dino Imeri
Dino Imeri (1990) is a renowned and distinguished Macedonian pianist and composer. He receives public and critical acclaim performing across prestigious scenes and collaborating with eminent artists and orchestras. “Dino Imeri – the piano wizard..” (Magazine, OPS) will not let the audience remain indifferent to his innovative artistic creations. He has performed in Austria (Schloss Esterhazy, „Liszt Zentrum“, Haydn Conservatory), Italy (Rome, Bari..), France (Piano Plage Festival opening, Strasbourg Philharmonic), Croatia (Vatroslav Lisinski – Zagreb, Dubrovnik, Državni arhiv, Muzej Umjetnosti i Obrt), Serbia (Artget gallery), Kosovo (International Chopin Pianofest), Bulgaria (five concerts in three seasons with the Sofia Philharmonic, recitals in Sofia), , Slovenia (Ljubljana Festival), Macedonia (Macedonian Philharmonic, Ohrid Summer Festival, Interfest, Struga Poetry Evenings and many other prestigious festivals) etc. „Dino Imeri does not simply perform the music, it is almost as if he is composing it in the very moment. Docheva, Kultura.bg) Imeri has collaborated with Orchestre Philharmonique de Strasbourg, Sofia Philharmonic, Macedonian Philharmonic, Macedonian Opera & Ballet, FMU Symphonic & Chamber Orchestra. He has collaborated with eminent artists in their respective field – conductors Josep Vicent, Nayden Todorov, Emil Tabakov, Sasha Nikolovski-Gjumar, Vanja Nikolovski-Gjumar, Dijana Imeri Ilkoska, Borjan Canev, Sasho Tatarchevski, Kire Kostov, Le Fi Fi, Bisera Chadlovska, as well as vocalists and instrumentalists Igor and Ana Durlovski, Blagoj Nacoski, Libuse Santorisova, Aleksey Shapovalov, Luigi Schifano, Bojan Ilkoski, Vlatko Stefanovski, Adi Imeri, Stojan and Ninoslav Dimovi, actress Simona Spirovska, dancer and choreographer Ivana Kocevska.. He is a recipient of numerous prestigious awards and recognitions among which „Virtuosi“ award for Young Musical Artist of the Year 2013, „St. Mother Theresa“ award for humanitarian activities, Laurate of Foundation „Tomislav Zografski“, Golden Ladybug „Maestro of the Year 2018“, rank among the ten finest European pianists according to the 3eme Concours européen de piano – Normandie etc. In 2010, Imeri has signed a two-year contract with the European Piano Program supported by the European Comission, touring in prestigious European venues. Apart from his performances, Imeri signs numerous discographic releases among which „Dino imeri - LIVE in France“ (2010, Piano Plage Festival), „Reflections“ (2020, PMG Jazz featuring piano works by Dino Imeri), „Passions“ - Bojan Ilkoski & Dino Imeri (2021, Con:tempo) etc. A succesful composer, he writes music for film, television, theater, ballet, instrumental and vocal music, multimedia projects. Imeri is also a jury member at international music competitions in Bulgaria, Kosovo, Macedonia and other countries. A descendant from a musical family, his first contact with music came at an early age. He continued his education at SMBEC „Ilija Nikolovski-Luj“ (class of prof. Lyudmila Romanova), he graduated with Cum Laude honors at the Faculty of Music in Skopje at the University of ss. „Cyril and Methodius“ (class of prof. Boris Romanov) and he earned his Master degree with a perfect average and Cum Laude honors at the Faculty of Music in Skopje (class of prof. Simon Tprceski). In 2018, Imeri has earned a Docent title and currently teaches at his Alma Mater – the Faculty of Music at the University of ss. „Cyril and Methodius“.
